    Cherry Cheesecake Murder

    A movie crew has come to town to film some footage for a movie entitled, "Crisis in Cherrywood." Hannah Swenson, owner of the Cookie Jar, spots an old college chum, Ross Barton who is working on the film as producer, and this doesn't make the town's dentist, Norman Rhodes or Detective, Mike Kingston very happy since they are both in love with Hannah and very marriage minded! Hannah ends up stirring up a lot of gossip along with her treats for the cast and crew. The director, Dean Lawrence is very demanding and insist on having a slice of Hannah's Cherry Cheesecake everyday. That's not the problem. Dean is not well liked and during a scene where he is demonstrating a suicide with a prop gun, it turns out too real and deadly! There are plenty of suspects as it turns out. Hannah is on ...

    Great title, lots of cheesecake involved.

    This is the eighth Hannah Swensen book. I liked this book. This one is about a movie that comes to town. Everyone is excited and gets caught up in the movie. Everyone, that is except for Hannah. She understands what the movie biz is all about. She stands back and sees what is going on. In this story Hannah is contracted by the producer of the movie "Crisis in Cherrywood" to make him a cherry cheesecake everyone morning and afternoon. Hannah loves this. They offer to pay her fifty dollars per cheesecake. Awesome. The movie is also paying to have all the business on main street closed while they are in town. In the shooting of the film the star can't perform because his back is hurting so the producer steps in to show him how it's done. it is a suicide shot. So when the producer sits at the ...

    Cherry Cheesecake Murder

    Cute book with great, realistic characters that draw you in. Recipes are a great bonus and are really tasty! Not graphic in the murders, light enough for teens to read and maybe even suitable for mature younger children. I would probably rate this book at a PG level.
