  • Enchanting!

The book is worth the read if you want to write compelling novels or know something about the kids you're trying to raise. Not only does the author cover the fairy tale for what it is, but the psyche of the child's mind and the passions of the emotions.

I orderd this book because I'm planning to write my thesis about fairytales and this really fit the bill. Bruno Bettelheim has such wonderful insight into the world of children (and adults) and why fairytales are so important in our lives.
