If you like Willie Nelson.. It is a must for your bookshelf.
It was to be expected. It is a great read and in truth it is the man speaking. I met Willie while having a pint or six in the entertainment part of the White Elephant Saloon in the Fort Worth Stockyards one very hot sunny day. He strummed a few songs on his guitar at the time and he was good. At that time in 1991 I did not have a clue who Willie Nelson was. I was one of five other guys who bought him a beer on that day, as our general thoughts were that he was just a drifter trying to earn a beer or hot dog to keep him alive until the next day. Anyway he joined us at our table and it was him that bought the beers. I have to say that we all thought that he was a really nice guy.. And now I must say that in my opinion he is up there with all my other favourite singers, second only to Elvis ... It was to be expected. It is a great read and in truth it is the man speaking.
