    It doesn't get better than Jimmy Stewart.

    I love and admire Jimmy Stewart and I love his poems. The poems are very clever and well written. I bought this book after seeing Jimmy Stewart read one of his poems on a rerun of Johnny Carson. I only wish there had been more poems in the book. I would have loved to have been able to enjoy more of his poetry.

    This book by the late actor Jimmy Stewart is a bit shorter than I expected but not disappointing. The poems you may have heard him tell on The Tonight Show starring Johnny Carson are here except the one about the lake. The camera, the dog Beau and others are here. There's no table of contents but each poem is preceded by a story about the poem and how it came to be.
