Dvd arrived quickly and well packaged and taken care of. The item was listed as acceptable and met all of my needs but here's a quick description of what I got: Some wear is visible on the plastic sleeve on the outside of the case. The inside leaflet was still there! The disk has about 3 very notable scratches, although none are bigger than about 2 centimeters. Little to no grime anywhere on the product. Great service!

    Relationship rescue w/Dr. Phil

    Great perspective! I like the type of book that makes you examine yourself. The kind of book that as you're first reading it, the stuff inside makes you want to throw the book across the room because you just can't see that he is taling about YOU, and it makes you mad enough to want to toss the book.THEN you read more and get a little comfortable with accepting what he wrote, and then before you know it, he has changed your thinking as to why YOU are reading the book in the first place. In other words, its an excellent book when you want to find answers about YOURSELF and you put the focus of the book on YOU! Yeah! I can still hear his voice resonating in my head as I read the words, even in his southern droal, lol. I have come to enjoy reading this book, and find it useful in many areas ...

    Great Book!!!!!!

    I bought this for my son, who recently ended a 7 year relationship (not his choice!!) because I absolutely LOVE Dr. Phil, and find that his books are written in a plain english, common sense way that EVERYONE can easily understand. I have several other books of his and found them to give me new insight into my own life and what I was looking for, so I thought this might help my son resurrect his relationship, since she keeps telling him that he "still has a chance", and if not, it would help him in his next one. I read a good portion of the book before (reluctantly) giving it to him. He says he is getting alot out of it, and is easily determining where he went wrong. Thank You Dr. Phil!!!!!!!!!!!

    Relationship Rescue by Phillip G. McGraw

    McGraw uses language that anyone can understand. And, he makes sense. He has done so much to help the public "get real" with themselves, and to take the stigma away from getting help that some cultures shy away from. He makes therapists approachable in person and in print. Here, one feels as if he is talking to each of us. Highly recommend for even the best of marriages. Judy L.     Good book! Still working through it though...

    I'd like to recommend this book. What I like about it is that it's not simply a book that you read and forget about later, but one that has several quizzes to take that force the reader to actively participate, as well as providing actual suggestions and action steps to improve a personal relationship. Dr. McGraw insists on supplying practical information rather than philosophical academic psychological theory that he argues, "hasn't worked and won't work." I think most people could benefit from this book, whether in a relationship, or single and wanting to prepare for a successful "next relationship." This book is a good read for both men and women, as it encourages positive change while admonishing each gender on respective behavior that is contrary to positive relationship building. ...

    more than i thought it would be

    THIS BOOK IS UNREAL. WATCTCHING DR PHIL ON TV SOMETIMES I WOULD ASK MYSELF IF ONLY I COULD MEET HIM HE COULD HELP ME. TRULLY READING THIS BOOK MAKES YOU FEEL LIKE YOU KNOW HIM AND HE IS RIGHT THERE HELPING YOU EVERY STEP. THIS BOOK IS SO DOWN TO EARTH AND AND EASY TO UNDERSTAND AND FOLLOW. IM NOT A READER BUT I COULD NOT PUT THIS BOOK DOWN. IT HONESTLY HELPED ME UNDERSTAND SO MUCH ABOUT MYSELF AND THE ROLE I HAVE IN MY MARRIAGE AND HOW TO FIX IT AND BELIVE IT OR NOT I DID. I DONT THINK ANY BOOK OR ANY ONE PERSON CAN MAKE IT ALL BETTER BUT WHEN YOU ARE HAVING PROBLEMS ANY BIT HELPS AND IM TELLING YOU , YOU WILL WALK AWAY FROM THIS BOOK IN A BETTER SPOT IN YOUR Relationship.
