"An Early Frost"
I saw this movie when it was first on Television in 1985. It was the first movie to take on the topic of the AIDs epidemic that was growing in this country and around the world. As then, and now, so many still do not understand or in some cases believe still that is has been visited upon us by God for what ever reasons they have. At the time, I had already lost some friends and family members to this disease, and realized it was not for any particular group of people, but that anyone could get it, and that was just beginning to be understood. That is why I wanted to see it again. Since 1985, many people have died, more that I could have imagined. This movie is an honest, heartfelt and beautifully acted portrayl of what happens once AIDs enters your domain, whether it you, or someone in ... I highly recommend this movie to anyone, it still has so much meaning and the you will not be disappointed.

Great Movie That Was Both Engaging and Prophetic
For its time (early 1980s) it was both engaging and prophetic. There was no treatment or vaccine for the AIDS virus and the movie showed the virus' effect on one family. It also showed the effect the effect on the son in the family and his lover. Really good movie.

An Early Frost
Excellent movie - one of the first to deal with living with AIDS. The performances by Aidan Quinn, Gena Rowlands, D.W. Moffitt and John Glover are superb.
