With their sophomore release, 100% COLOMBIAN, Fun Lovin' Criminals leave behind the Tarantino-esque sounds of their debut release for a more harmonious, soulful, Superfly-vibe that sounds like a '70s movie soundtrack. Always groovy, the album shines with funky, yet mellow musical textures, while continuing to have the humorous feel that defines the Fun Lovin' Criminals. Check out the fun-filled "Big Night Out," the guitar riffs of "Korean Bodega" and the ode to the Lower East Side of Manhattan, "Southside." Filled with clever, witty lyrics, 100% COLOMBIAN is also packed with cool '70s vintage keyboards and the edge that Criminal fans have come to enjoy. A track that deserves more than your average attention is "Love Unlimited," the group's tribute to super-soul singer Barry White. Other songs that stand out are "Back On The Block," "10th Street" and the slow, laid-back "We Are All Very Worried About You." Though different from their previous album, 100% COLOMBIAN does not disappoint.

Item arrived in a thin/poorly packed brown parcel satchel. Parcel was damaged upon arrival & when opening there was very noticeable damage to the disc cover (large crack on the bottom plastic casing). After some initial delays/unclear communication from the seller a replacement copy was sent and arrived recently. Once again the parcel was very thin & poorly packed - very disappointing - but thankfully no damage to the replacement. Seller should consider escalating the poor quality parcels.
