    This is a good alternative to the expensive OEM crossbars. The screws are longer than the nut built into the roof, but the mounts allow room for extra washers. I would suggest getting some nylon or rubber washers since they will compress when tightening the screws down. The caps do not fit perfectly on the other mounts, I suggest you number them to match them when you pull them apart or keep them on the same side of the V when you’re installing the crossbars. Over all fit is good and looks good.

    Part fit well. Instructions weren’t very clear and there was some assembly that would have gone smoother with marked parts or better instructions. For the money it’s a great buy though!!

    Cross bars look great, but the bolts were too long had to find shorter ones to fit 2002 CRV other than that. GREAT! Good quality already bought a cargo basket to attach to them.

    Functional but with issues

    First of all, the 6mm bolts that come with it are too long and the mounts won't get tight because the bolts bottom out. So be prepared to make another purchase at the hardware store. Secondly, the plastic caps that are designed to snap on won't stay snapped in. I had to glue them so they wouldn't fly off going down the highway. Lastly, the rubber boots are downright cheesey looking and the whole setup just looks cheap because of that. I wish I had spent more for better ones but they do work after all.

    Effective, but flawed

    PROS • Inexpensive • Fit my vehicle properly • Relatively simple to install if you have basic DIY knowledge CONS • The Allen wrench provided is useless; plan on sourcing your own • Slight whistling sound at highway speed, but not horrible • The end caps that cover the hardware are flimsy and feel like they're holding on by a thread. I'll be amazed if I don't lose one or two during an extended trip. They're OK. I'd upgrade to a more durable product if I could do it again.
