Cross bars look great, but the bolts were too long had to find shorter ones to fit 2002 CRV other than that. GREAT! Good quality already bought a cargo basket to attach to them.

The item is not the best design but does work and the price can't be beat. For the 2005-2006 2nd Gen the bolts in this kit are too long at 25mm. DO NOT listen to those claiming the holes are deeper and filled with debris - that is not true with the 05/06 model. More like 16mm. I had to cut them down. The mount caps use snap plugs to attach - mine came with a broken one and won't stay down. The rubber gasket also tends to restrict their application. Seller was a champ and remedied the problem!

    Functional but with issues

    First of all, the 6mm bolts that come with it are too long and the mounts won't get tight because the bolts bottom out. So be prepared to make another purchase at the hardware store. Secondly, the plastic caps that are designed to snap on won't stay snapped in. I had to glue them so they wouldn't fly off going down the highway. Lastly, the rubber boots are downright cheesey looking and the whole setup just looks cheap because of that. I wish I had spent more for better ones but they do work after all.

    Effective, but flawed

    PROS • Inexpensive • Fit my vehicle properly • Relatively simple to install if you have basic DIY knowledge CONS • The Allen wrench provided is useless; plan on sourcing your own • Slight whistling sound at highway speed, but not horrible • The end caps that cover the hardware are flimsy and feel like they're holding on by a thread. I'll be amazed if I don't lose one or two during an extended trip. They're OK. I'd upgrade to a more durable product if I could do it again.
