    A Very good Book

    It is a very good book. I had a copy of it when I was in College. It has a lot of information on the topic for which it was written. This is why I purchased it. I already knew how good it was. But I didn't have the copy that I had in college anymore. So I purchased a new one to have. It brakes down the information contained in the book. I highly recommend it!

    New Testament comes alive!

    Bruce Metzger produced in "The New Testament: Its Background, Growth, and Content" a book that will assist, influence, and help those seriously interested in the New Testament. Metzger was chairman of the Revised Standard Version Bible Committee and a member of the board of managers of the American Bible Society. The book is not overly large but contains what information is necessary to understanding the New Testament. I teach seminary classes and will share this book with my students.
