    I like some of the actors in this movie better than the originals! Very entertaining although some parts could have easily been left out to make it more family friendly.

    So-so

    Dabney Coleman makes a great Milburn Drysdale, Lily Tomlin and Cloris Leachman are just as good as Jane Hathaway and Granny. Jim Varney gives a good performance as as Jed Clampett and newcomer Diedrich Bader gives a good performance as Jethro Bodine. Erika Eleniak is not even close as Elly May Clampett. The movie is reasonably enjoyable when it tells the tales of the Clampett odyssey (the scene where they stop to lay claim to road-kill is hilarious) but goes downhill from there. True to the original series, Rob Schneider shows up with a plot to steal the Clampett millions (only now its billions) but the story line became contrived, belabored, and tiresome. It's difficult in a movie to achieve the week-in and week-out antics of Jethro strapping a rocket to his back or Granny curing the ...

    I really like this light-hearted movie. It's very funny, and you will find that you will be quoting the movie a lot. I consider it to be a good family movie.

    Pretty good rendition of the old Beverly Hillbillies relevision series. The Clampett family, Jedd, Granny, Jethro, and Ellie May, now worth hundreds of millions of dollars from oil discovered on their property down in the "Holler", have decided to move to where people of their wealth are supposed to live. . .Beverly Hills, California. Arriving there in their 1916 ford truck, with their goat, chickens, rabbits, and a bucket full of fresh roadkill for dinner, they are ready to take on the West. The next hour and a half is nonstop hilarity.

    Great OOP Movie

    I can't believe that this movie is OOP. The disc came in excellent condition. Minor wear on the case, but this movie is from 1993 so I wasn't expecting mint condition. If you're thinking about getting a copy of this movie don't hesitate since it will only go up in price as the years pile on.
