    Intriguing

    I love history and the renaissance as a whole - but I'm also wholly aware that it was perpetuated by the underbelly of unseemly behavior by those often revered for their genius. The human nature of creativity is often driven by dysfunction and so this book was right in line with laying out "the other story" behind a period of history that changed the world.
