      FORTUNATE SON

      TRIUMP OVER TRAGEDY. INSPIRING STORY. VIETNAM AT IT'S WORSE. HORRIBLY MAIMED PULLER SURVIVED TO TELL HIS COMPELLING STORY. EVERYONE SHOULD READ IT TO KNOW THE HORRORS OF WAR AND WHAT IT DOES TO BRAVE MEN. HEARTRENDERING AND TEARS WERE ALWAYS CLOSE TO THE SURFACE AS WE READ HIS STORY. HAVE SUCH ADMIRATION FOR HIM. UNFORTUNATELY HIS BRIEF LIFE DID NOT END WELL. FOR THAT I AM TRULY SORRY. REST IN PIECE LT. PULLER. YOU DID WELL!

      It’s hard to read if you’re a Nam Vet but Lewey tells a great story. So sad he ended his life. Semper Fi to my Marine Brother in arms.
