    Good book for the beginner watercolor artist.

    This book teachers the beginner the basic methods for applying watercolors to paper and shjowing their artistic skills in a few hours.

    Great ideas

    The writer/artist uses other mediums to achieve some textural effects that I found very useful. His use of oil pastels for highlights on stonework was fantastic. He lists the materials used and emphasizes the importance of craftsmanshp. He also suggests ways to mentally frame the composition before putting paint to paper. Good book regardless of skill level.
