Good quality product. Backlight screen makes a huge difference! Idk how I will ever go back to my non-modded Gameboy. Screen is slightly smaller than my other one, but the brightness makes all the difference.
The backlight has randomly shut off twice while playing. Not sure why or how to turn it back on. I have been able to get it back though by restarting the device.

Per the seller there is a way to adjust backlight level on the left shoulder of the device. I must have bumped that. If you press it again you can adjust brightness. A+

Arrived very fast. The gameboy color itself is in great condition. I only have a few minor problems:- the ips screen is a bit smaller than the original so the lighting bleeds through the edges.- the ips screen is slightly slanted, but if you are not suffering from OCD you might not even realize- the headphone jack has a buzzing sound when plugged in (i looked it up and it was very common on all gameboy devices)I am happy with my very first gameboy in my life. I recommend the seller.

I reached out to the seller and they sent a replacement out along with a return label allowing me to continue to play the device while waiting for the replacement.
