The item was delivered as described, and arrived very quickly, also was packed safely with the case being in good condition on arrival. I would order from this company again, due to having great communication throughout my purchasing process ... they answered all my questions almost not Ling after I asked. In my opinion MovieMars is a great company to order from. I hope this helps some of you out there on the fence, about ordering from this company....

  • 77 in the 2000's

This is a must have for any 77's fan and a must check out for any Christian or music fan. The 77's are an 80's california band that put out some of the best Christian music in the late 1980's. The lead singer , Michael Roe, has done some very good solo work and has also been involved in the Lost Dogs (a Christian version of the Traveling Willburys...sort of). To my knowledge, this group has not put out music in several years, but this does nothing to subtract from this CD. This CD is a "must check out." The only reason I can think of not liking this CD is if you don't like this style of music which tends toward "alternative." If you are a 77's fan I would rate this between Sticks & Stones, and Drowning with Land in Sight. I have always thought the 77's should have more appeal than ...

  • definitely not their best

Apart from a couple of good songs, there is not much that is memorable here. While Mike Roe continues to make a better Tom Petty than Petty himself, there s little Aericana here. It sounds like the band is trying to emulate the pop that sells and so there is little that is original. Aren't these guys too old to be whining about lost girlfriends yet? Related is simply the best song on the cd and I applaud their creativity on this one. The rap scratches actually do work but their cry for everybody to just get along is more complicated than presented here. Drowning with Land in Sight continues to be a monumental work. This cd is disappointing in comparison, and the lyrics are void of soul-searching and spirituality that are prevalent themes on other releases.

  • Cascading rainbow of harmony on a silver platter. A nod of approval.

The 77's discs are required content in a serious CC collection, and obligatory in the less serious too. Michael Roe did not bury the talent here, its not under a bushel hidden there forever. A Golden Field of Radioactive Crows is a slight change in direction for the 77's with a more subdued blend of intonations unique and less reminiscent of a band gone before, worthy though it is of a heady hat rise. The 77's style is present, a symphonic hint of catharsis leaving you to scratch your chin in contemplation one more time. Meaningful music meant for the genuine of heart leaving mine feeling better. Hopefully yours too. If U R Trippin' this mean green season feeling like Mr. Magoo then I've got to say this is a good way down for you.

  • Leaving

Another great album from the great Mike Roe and co. Rockin' alterna/rock with grungy guitars. A little different from what we had come to expect but different is good. The song "Leaving" has some of my favorite 77's lyrics (anybody hear the Radiant Dregs cover?) so a close reading of the poetry is highly recommended. 5 Stars.
