    The standard lapel style microphone for presenters and wirless use. WL185

    The Shure WL185 lavalier style microphone is a standard in the audio/visual and live presentation industry. The WL185 is the cardioid pattern version of Shure's WL series microphones made for their various wireless lavalier belt packs. The cardioid pattern has enough rejection to avoid excessive feedback, and also allows for voice pickup when turning your head from side to side. The WL184 super-cardioid pattern version has a narrow pickup pattern and your voice will somewhat disappear when your head is turned away from the microphone. The WL183 version of this microphone is the omni-directional pattern and this type of microphone picks up sound very well, but is also prone to feedback without EQ cuts at the mixing board.     Good mic

    Good mic, nice quality, good tone. If you're looking for something that rejects feedback/ambient noise this one does an okay job. The 184 does better, but if you're looking into lavs like this you probably already knew that.
