  • Clark is always good.

    I pretty much buy anything Simon Clark writes. After reading Death's Dominion, I bought 4 or 5. The best is absolutely Blood Crazy, followed by King Blood, but Darkness Demands is worth reading. It is a sad book, but Clark's "voice" is so interesting. He leads you down one path and you swear you know where you are going & then suddenly, you are shocked by where you end up. It's very satisfying to be surprised in the horror genre, which so often is as cliche as the movies Hollywood cranks out. John's family has moved into an old mill in Skelbrooke (England, as so many of Clark's books) and he receives notes on his porch one day. A note the neighbors also received and caused them to run for the hills. He dismisses them as child's play and things start to go haywire. The Necropolis ...

    I decided to buy this book because of a previous book that I had read from this author that I loved.The book is a good read,I means it's scary and it keeps you guessing.What I did not like is the ending.
