Very comfortable, highly adjustable, and inexpensive strap!
This 3-inch, lightly-padded leather guitar strap is long enough to let you wear your instrument at knee level, if you wish (think Krist Nosevelic of Nirvana, for instance). It's nice and wide, so it helps distribute the weight of a heavy bass or guitar - a traditional Telecaster, for instance - across more of your shoulder, which will relieve some of the back and neck strain you might otherwise experience. (I have compromised discs in my neck and upper back, and extensive stenosis throughout my spinal column, so I really need and appreciate the relief.) The brown-on-black layers, and the decorative embossing make this a good-looking accessory, too, so it'll help you look good on stage, and lessen the fatigue of playing multiple sets a night, as well. It's not heavily-padded, however, so ... Mine's not leather. But it's a good facsimile. I only wish they'd said so. It's a good looking strap and comfortable. Plenty strong enough. It's worth the $. Just wish the description was accurate.
