    5 star historical fiction

    Five star book, suitable for book club discussion. Story of 5 women- Grandma, mother, 3 daughters- but mainly Grandma & one granddaughter. Story is difficult to read, but also important. Sad how little has changed between the 3 generations. A look behind the veil in the Middle East.

    This is a must read.

    The amazing book kept my attention all the way through. I had trouble putting it down. The characters are nicely developed and it didn't take long to feel liked I knew them. It said so much about the culture,and the traditions of this part of the Muslim world.
