    Not for me, won't buy this type of book again.

    I bought this book because a guy I had gone out with was into this kind of thing. Silly me, I should have saved my money cause I haven't seen him again and I can't understand anything in this book. I think I'm going to regift it to my niece and her husband since they are outdoorsy people. I like the outdoors but this is way out of my area of comfort!

    Great book for new GPSr users.

    Very well written. This book starts at the very basic concepts of navigation, explains them well and builds with very useful field navigation tools. If you are new to GPSr use this is an excellent book to start with.
