    While more expensive than similar devices from other sellers, it is worth every penny.

    This is a good product from a good manufacturer. Its predecessor lasted many years. While the speaker and earphone sound are superb, what I really bought it for was dictation accuracy working with Nuance's Dragon NaturallySpeaking. I also purchased a new earphone/microphone headset at the same time as the sound device. The combination has hugely improved dictation accuracy, and I have to stop and make far fewer corrections than in the past. My only caveat with this device is that it is touted as having optical inputs and outputs, but these are easily ignored because it has the standard analog I/O too.

    SWL, Ham: Needed Quadrature Input

    for I/Q digital signal processing on winradio style application. Basically I got it b/c it has stereo line inputs. I'm sure it'll work better than the onboard sound card on my lattepanda. Soundblasters are very compatible, I can't blame the inputs. 73 de kd6il
