    New Backyard Birder in Missouri

    We are having a blast with this book! Highly recommend for an average birder. Content easy to follow and easy to get at pretty much when a bird pops in to view. Pics are illustrations which are not my favorite but helpful and closeup

    Very Helpful Book for new bird watchers

    This book was purchased for my sister who along with me enjoy watching the birds in our backyards. I have a copy of this book also and found it so helpful I bought one for my sister. Good Book for us beginners, gives so much information on what the birds eat, where the like to live or build their nests. Of course it gives lovely pictures and describes their habits. New to bird watching as we are this book will be very helpful.

    The Backyard Bird-Lover's Guide by Jan Mahnken (1996) This is an excellent book for the new birdwatcher's AAAAAAAAAA+++++++++++ I have been watching birds for about 40 years and have recently noticed my daughter and grandaughter have become interested, this book was a perfect gift for them.
