    Thrilled to find a case that fits!

    The old flimsy case for my 1953 Gibson ES-125 is still intact, but isn't suitable for travel protection or keeping the guitar humidified. The guitar is a true arch top hollow body, with no central brace. The dimensions are similar to a modern Gretsch Electromatic G5420T. The Gibson fits nicely in the Gretsch brand case, for that model, except for the bridge clearance. I was hoping to avoid buying a brand new case and then cutting away padding around the bridge. I tried out, researched, and had recommendations of cases, that simply didn't fit. Even Gibson recommended against a case, manufactured under their name, that I thought would work. For anyone with similar issues...buy this case! Problem solved! Now, lets look at the case itself. The build is similar to a lot of cases, textured ...

    CG-022-HD perfect fit for The Loar 280-C series deep hollow body

    The Loar 280-C series deep hollow body is an excellent fit. The body is held snugly, while the neck is more than amply supported. The headstock is not cramped and is nowhere near touching the back of the case, with 2" or more of open space to spare, length-wise. My rolled up leather strap stores behind the headstock with ease. I would absolutely use this for casual gig-to-gig transport, but it probably wouldn't probably last long 'on the road' or for commercial air travel. For my uses, it's perfect and will last a very long time.

    Solid case for the money!

    Solid built case that does the job well. Fit my L4 jazzbox like a glove. A good tight fit means better protection. Happy with this case for the money and when it tanks, I'll just buy another.
