This unit is compatible with AirPlay, so you can use your Apple components wirelessly. It can handle MP3, WMA, WAV, and FLAC HD audio to play back uncompressed files. Two composite and one component allow for video input, plus an S-video port on the rear panel lets you use Denon’s iPod dock. You can easily connect multiple high-definition devices, like gaming consoles and video players to your TV with just one HDMI cable. Five analog stereo inputs and Ethernet are also onboard.It features 3D-ready HDMI switching, making it perfect for technology junkies and average users alike. The 3D pass-through feature allows 3D signals from your Blu-ray player or 3D TV broadcasts to be reproduced on your TV. The receiver has a seven-channel amplifier with 90 watts per channel. Each channel is powered by its own discrete circuit in order to reproduce sounds accurately.The Denon AVR-1912 brings you multiple technologies to give you a one-of-a-kind A/V experience. There is support for Blu-ray high-definition audio formats, like Dolby TrueHD and DTS-HD Master Audio. These formats provide realistic, high-fidelity sound. This unit also supports Deep Color and x.v.Color schemes, which produce more vibrant and lifelike visuals.When it comes to sound quality, this unit gets excellent marks. The bandwidth response runs from 10 hertz to a maximum of 100 kilohertz. It has a strong signal-to-noise ratio with crisp, clear, distortion-free sound at 100 decibels. The total harmonic distortion comes in at 0.1 percent. And the unit's total power consumption is just 460 watts, with each of the channels drawing only 110 watts.
