Purchased for use by all students in a classroom to access a single trusted website. So, the fact that Google is no longer updating Google OS in this model ChromeBook is not an issue for the school. Battery monitor indicates 9 hours of use per charge. Students take computer to their desks, do the assigned work, then return computer to the charger stand when finished. The used computers work well and look better than expected.Purchased for use by all students in a classroom to access a single trusted website. Google has taken the laptop, and redisigned it, and it is lighter, cooler running, and cheaper to buy, and I have bought three different Chromebooks, and they are are exceptional!

It’s a good school laptop
Don’t expect to use the laptop for games, but if you’re strictly looking at it for school than it’s really good. The computer is definitely a lil outdated, but if you aren’t worried about that then you should buy it. :)

Good basis for inexpensive and capable Linux laptop.
With a little work this is now in use as a capable laptop running a Linux operating system. An external hard drive is an alternative to replacing the internal drive. The touchscreen still works well.
