    Pretty good 4 cd set. I only wish it was remastered.

    The sound & recording quality is a 7.5 or 8. I wish this 4cd Lifelines was remastered. Overall I am glad I purchased this. Recommended for Jimi Hendrix fans.

    Great deal for the price!

    While there is a narrator voice speaking in between, the content is informative and the music is superb. Contains some rare and ,( at thevtime) unreleased tracks. Highly recommended listening for any Hendrix enthusiast.

    Jimi!

    This is a second edition pressing of the original set that was released on a collectible 5 cd set. This 4 disk version provides the listener with a bit of a different line up and the packaging is totally different. The biggest difference is that unlike the first set which is long OOP and pricey, you can pick this one up for at least 1/2 the price (I found mine for $16 shipped). Check it out, if you don't have a bunch of Jimi's original releases then this is a great way to pick up a ton of his best songs.
