    Older gem

    Books are classic and make for a casual read. The content is mostly "generic" and uninteresting in my opinion. I love the written sentiment in the first book on the page before the actual book begins. After growing with David Eddings I sense that his fantasy was more reality based... and I prefer a more magic and bang effect.. For the time it was written it makes a unique and good enough read. I enjoyed it.

    This copy of the book is probably from the 80s, but it is in excellent condition. I've been a fan of fantasy genre for 45 years and haven't read a good fantasy book in a while, this was recommended to me and it is very good.
