My fault for not checking but this does NOT fit a 96 kdx200. It says plainly this was off a ‘93, but the description also said it fit 88-96, which was wrong. It was about half the size that fits a 96 KDX 200, it now resides in the trash and I learned a valuable lesson about reading everything AND doing my homework. That said, packaging was great, communication was great, he even called to verify that I knew it was for one side only so he gets a great recommendation from me.

    Low rpm lugging and mid range power house

    Definitely woke my bike up. Power band hits hard at mid throttle. I can lug around 3rd gear on gncc style trails with no issues of stalling. Throttle is more touchy and the engine seems to be more crisp sounding

    Wow! As advertised. It’s like I have a new bike! Twice the low and mid power. I now own a beast! Love it! Thx FMF.

    Bike runs and starts first kick as it always has but the slightest twist of a throttle it’s on the pipe and just raring to go. It has a ton of love power now and I can master any trail up in the hills and keep up with Any’ four stroke out there. Two strokes definitely have their place and I don’t expect to see them leave the scene anytime soon as the manufactures know the people want to buy them. I ride a WR 450 also in the trails and I also love this YZ250 as they both have things that I really like. The FMF pipe really makes this very light bike very competitive with those 300s out there. FMF really can help you tune your bike to what you love.

    Installed FMF Gnarly pipe on 2005 Yamaha YZ250 with ESR 325 kit. Bike has hard hit at low and mid range, very snappy. Will wheelie easily in 4th gear!
