  • Really enjoyable

I was surprised to see that no one had ever reviewed this album before. I have had this album for many years, and have always loved it. Townshend puts a lot of power and emotion into this music, and having Ronnie Lane sing and play on this album is terrific as well. The version of Pure and Easy on this album is my favorite, better even than the Who's version on Odds and Sods. I also love Evolution (with Ronnie Lane singing),Forevers No Time At All,and especially Let's See Action,Sheraton Gibson, and Parvardigar. The music is indeed powerful, and very beautiful.I think any serious fan of Pete Townshend should have this album in their collection.

  • Good little record, better than a lot of the Who proper and Ronnie Lane +!

Great album, I missed it, Ronnie Lane's "Evolution" aka Stone is the best thing on here, but ultimately overall it's very good. I had this in high school in mid 90s and not sure why I don't have it anymore (kind of forgot about it), but I got a Small Faces DVD and that reminded me of this album, and then I listened to my other solo Pete cds and really wanted it again. Thank you. Good record, not great, but a solid 4/5, so pretty great.

Great album + great bonus tracks from a master songwriter. Spiritual overtones which add to the overall vibe. This Ryko version has better sound quality than the subsequent re-release.
