I saw some reviews saying the remotes came dirty. In my experience, they came very well packaged, but did need a bit of cleaning up. There was gunk in the speakers and some green stains around the nunchuk connector. You should probably be using an alcohol wipe to clean off a used controller anyways, so it wasn’t much extra work. Overall I’m very happy with my purchase and it was a very reasonable price.

Works well and is authentic OEM. Judging by the battery well's text it appears to be a Japanese Wii remote, but I could be wrong. Regardless, it syncs to my Wii U just fine. The one I got came with the Wii remote sleeve as well, but I'll need to buy a wrist strap separately before I can use it in more vigorous games.
