    Zerr gut!

    During the Vietnam era I was a special forces ops officer, team leader and had a lot of experience with several special forces organizations and Air America. This summer spent some time in Montana visiting Ennis, MT where items from the past from the 1st Special Service were sold and explained by Willie Blazer and his wife at Willie's Distillery. Good training film for those that did not serve.

    Good movie from times gone past!

    I'm not a big war-movie fan, but am SO glad I watched this -- after the first few minutes, I was hooked! Lots of good character actors and, of course, Bill Holden -- can't go wrong there. Very good movie with NO computer-generated special effects!

    This DVD replaces a VHS tape and we love this movie, great actors, scenery and the storyline is amazing.

    This DVD will be played regularly because we have seen this movie so many times and every time we do we laugh and love it. Get the DVD and you will love it.

    Great movie!!!

    Excellent war movie. Filmed in Salt Lake and Utah Counties in Utah. My brother Ben was one of the expert rock climbers who climbed the cliff to surprise the dug in German artillery stronghold stationed in Italy (cliff outcropping on Lone Peak, Draper, Utah).
