This unit is heavy, but it appears to work well. The coarse (large) ice setting will occasionally cause slabs to fall and shut down the progress because it thinks it is full when it is not. It might work OK on the smaller cube setting, but I have not tried that yet. I found that filling with about 25 ounces of water each time is best because the add water light will come on to pause the ice making in an hour. I am amazed at how the ice cubes sparkle. My refrigerator's ice maker won't do that.

Love this machine just wish I had known it can’t be filled by a faucet but comes with tubing but no faucet hookup. But the machine works perfectly when you fill it by hand and does recurculate the melted water. Love it!!
