    Original Leica Lens Shade

    Leica accessories are so expensive but this was a good deal. A good lens shade cuts down on flare. Nice to have on my lens. Perfect fit.

    An obvious addition

    This filter should always be attached to the front of your lens. Leica optics are finely tuned and engineered. Protecting the front element should be essential. This filter is constructed to the same standards as the lens and will not only protect the glass, but won't compromise color and clarity of your images.

    Useful and not. Just to protect from dust and shock.

    This old Leica filter is good for protecting the front element of the lenses. Useful on the film cameras, not useful on the digital cameras, unless you use it to protect the fron elemnent of the lens from impact. When I shoot, I remove the filter.
