    I like this record for a few reasons....

    The reason i bought this record, is because i had just bought tickets to watch the Meat Puppets here in town. And in spirit of getting ready for the show i really started to jam all the Meat Puppets material i could find, and in doing so, i found out about this band because Krist used to be in a band with one of the Meat Puppets guys.... so after checking out a few tracks on YouTube i opted to buy the album to see what it was like, and i can for sure say, that if i had bought this record back in the days after Nirvana, i would have immediately discarded it, because thats not the sound i wanted to hear, but now a decade later, i really appreciated the record for what it is, and i think it has killer moments of creativity......

    Sweet 75 review

    I loved actually getting a copy of krist novasellics solo stuff, but if your expecting nirvana or grungy sound, its just not here. I love the sound its more mellow, and catchy at times; no hard guitars or shredding riffs with a poppy bass, more or less u can tell its krist playing, but its not nirvana so dont buy based on that fact, but other than that this album is solid to need improving in some spots, its a shame this band is no longer together i seen little bit of potential in the their first go around, buy this if ur into mellow, catchy rock not for the harder sound of grundge because it is not here.

    Sweet 75 is far from Nirvana

    This CD is honestly more of a collectors item for Nirvana-maniacs than it is a solid album. Many quirks are abound in this Bainbridge Island-sound CD. Not alternative or grunge music by a mile and a half, this is more of a regional sound native to the Indie scene and non-Seattle, Washington music. This musical style is what Krist Noveselic hoped to create after Nirvana ran it's natural course anyway, so It's true to his vision if no one else's.
