My personal favorite on the Genesis.

The controls take a little to get used to, it is a little like Prince of Persia. Really nice graphics. Barely any music but memorable.

  • I love the game.

I love the game. In the summer of 1994 I was visiting my cousins home in East New Orleans, it was simply to congratulate him on the recent purchase of the house (they were having a party). Well me not being the partying type, I wandered off, and just went stroling around through the house, As I passed by his son's bedroom, he and several of my other younger cousins were playing a video game on their Sega Genisis (Flash Back). When they saw it was me, I was immediately asked to play. What was only intended to be a three hour visit turned into a weekend vacation. And during that weekend I must've ended that game at least five or six times. And I even to this day remember the password/code for the last board/level I played (INCBIN). Thank you. • This Game is the bomb on any platform....!

I just love the way this plays. I have the Super Nintendo version and the Panasonic 3DO version. Even though the 3DO version has better made live action cut scenes, the overall gameplay is exactly the same. This game will forever be enjoyable....!

  • great story, and impressive graphics for its time.

Flashback” was a very fun puzzle-solving game for the Sega Genesis. The objective was to move the character through a side-scrolling, wonderfully rendered, future landscape in order to help him regain his memory. Primarily puzzle-solving with a bit of shoot ‘em up thrown in for good measure, “Flashback” had a great storyline, and fairly impressive graphics for its time. Though there was a distinct lack of music throughout the game, brief snippets would play at key moments to add to the excitement, but for the most part all that was heard in the game were sound effects (albeit cool sound effects).
