    Adorable Children's Story!

    "The Gruffalo" is a terrific children's book which has been made into a DVD presentation as well. The story is captivating, and the characters are charming. The story teaches the value of courage, calmness in the face of danger, intelligence, and quick thinking, as well as the value of perspective. The DVD is well made and was nominated for an Academy Award. Of course, the story is better read to children than watched on DVD. But, since reading isn't always practical (i.e. while driving), the DVD provides quality entertainment and value enhancement. I recommend it.

    More than 1 way to skin a gruffalo

    SInce Netflix deleted this our grand kids have been missing watching it. Last winter they watched it as their bedtime story many nights. So we thought we would get the DVD and solve the problem. This came quickly- appears to be in good shape. We won't try it out till after Christmas. I crocheted a Gruffalo and-mouse-snake-fox- and owl to go with it as a family gift.

    Delightful Animated Movie at a Great Price!

    I bought The Gruffalo after a friend in the UK sent the book for my great granddaughter. It is an absolutely charming tale about one very clever little brown mouse who makes up an imaginary creature in order to scare away other predators. Inagine his surprise when he is confronted by the creature he created, the Gruffalo. My 18 month old great granddaughter is absolutely delighted by this movie and I and her great grandfather are, too. The movie is less than an hour long, perfect for those shorter attention spans. However, you might just need to be prepared to watch it often and over and over again.

    Absolutely wonderful video!

    I'm an adult with an admittedly childlike brain, and I loved this! The story is great, and the animation is wonderful!! I would recommend this for any child, parent, or grandparent.

    Great childrens/Family show

    I usually don't write any recommendations, but this little movie is great. It is clean, I had no problems with letting my 3 Y.O. Daughters watch it, it has a fast enough plot to carry interest fantastic music, wonderful animation... darling characters... I highly recommend, and there is enough humor in here to please any adult as well. Truly, a Family show
