    great item plays wonderful thank you so much

    a friend of mine had told me a story of one night at a bar long ago and how she had loved glenn miller and how he was at that bar and he invited her and her date to join them they had an amazing night and the next day when glenn went up in the sky his plan was shot down that is why i wanted to buy this for her

    Rare Broadcast Performances 1943-1944

    Pleased with purchase. Growing up in Big Band Music era I continue to have a love of the music of that time. We have the memories of the good music of the times. Wonder what the memories will be of today.

    Great Big Band Sound

    Truly excellent CD with that Big Band sound. If you enjoy 40s music, this might just be the CD you're looking for.

    Great songs from the big bands

    Johnny Desmond was a distant relative and I just wanted some of the songs he sang with the Glenn Miller Army Air Force Band.
