About this product

Product Information

Based on the Rugrats' second animated movie, Rugrats in Paris for Game Boy Color finds the mischievous babies on an adventure through the EuroReptarLand theme park. The cartridge features a mix of seven mini-games and eight side-scrolling levels as players move around an overhead map of the park. Advancing to new levels requires a specific number of tickets, which are earned by playing an assortment of carnival games.

Among the mini-games featured are two target shooting events (using a squirt gun or beanbag), mole bop, catching fish with a net, throwing basketballs into a moving hoop, frog toss, and a hammer shot. All of the events take place on a fixed screen and most have a time limit. Achieving high scores earns players bonus tickets, allowing them to move freely around the park. The ultimate goal is for Chuckie to find a princess so she can become his new mom.

The eight main levels take place in a variety of locales and are playable by specific characters. Dil climbs aboard an airplane as he navigates his way through a maze of clouds while taking pictures of key landmarks. Kimi explores the inside of a rocket ship, flipping switches to activate the launch code, while Tommy explores a mysterious pyramid filled with mirrors, mummies, and ninjas.

Phil and Lil avoid ninjas and bubbles while bouncing on slime-covered trampolines to reach the top of Ooey Gooey World. Tommy continues the adventure by riding a haunted mine cart to light as many lanterns as possible, and Chuckie navigates a volcano while locating the valves needed to stop the flow of lava. The final two levels have Chuckie searching for the princess in a pagoda and in Notre Dame Cathedral. Completing each stage reveals a password used to resume progress at a later time.

  • Find Chuckie a New Mommy

In this game you must play through different levels trying to find Chuckie a new mommy. This game has simplistic graphics, but they are an improvement on the graphics in The Rugrats Movie Game Boy game. In various levels you play as different characters including Chuckie, Kimmy, Phil, Lil, Tommy, and Dil. It is geared towards kids, but it is not that easy of a game. Kids may get frustrated with it, but more likely they will enjoy mastering the challenge of the game, which is not really that hard for experienced gamers.

  • Happy costumer

  • Good purchase

I bought this game for my child because she has a gameboy advance and she also loves Rugrats. The item was used but in good working condition. My daughter likes the game so all is well with purchase.

it is an ok game i guess but for my five year old, he didn't like the game very much. played it once and hasn't touched it again. it is nothing like the cartoon. you can't tell who the characters are. it is very atari looking.
