I tried the stock type, but they would not stay in the track and I couldn't find any adhesive that would stick to the silicone rubber. And, these cork gaskets fit the stock tin valve covers too! Without stretching them! I hope these don't get discontinued any time soon, but I'm ordering a couple more sets, just in case! Cork gaskets have been around for a long time and, can be reused if installed properly.
