  • The Ramones Go Back to the Roots of Rock-n-Roll

The Ramones were one of the greatest pioneering bands of the early punk rock era. Their tight sound, catchy riffs and energetic delivery made them a favorite for millions of rockers around the world. Acid Eaters is an essential listen for Ramones fans to discover the the songs and bands that influenced the band. While the ramones were known for their three chord brand of rock, it's amazing to hear them rip through the Amboy Dukes classic "Journey to the Center of the Mind" or to take in the folky "My Back Pages" by Bob Dylan. This disc is well worth the price for Ramones fan who want to hear a different side of the classic punk rock band. R.I.P Joey, Johnny and Dee Dee.

  • THE RAMONES MEET WOODSTOCK

I'm a diehard Ramones fan. This album consists of all cover tunes from the late 60's. Not any thing compared to prior Ramones original efforts, but still worth listening to. Pete Towsend of THE WHO sings vocals with Joey on The Who track. There cover of The Beach Boy's Surf City is better than the original. Johnny Ramones awesome guitar style stands out on most of the tracks, giving them that hard driving bulldozer Ramones sound. RF Osborne 6/15/2014

  • Somebody To Love

The Ramones doing covers of 60's rock tunes...how cool is that! Ramones fans need this in their collection as do all punk rock fans. Fans of 60's rock just might want to give this a chance as well. 5 Stars.
