Horse Life Adventures finds gamers receiving a pony as a reward for three years of hard work at their grandfather's farm. Players can choose their favorite breed, then pick the color, markings, and name of their horse and feed, groom, train, and play with their new pet. Horses take lessons in Dressage, Cross Country, and Show Jumping at the Training Center before gamers head out test their skills in competitions. The winnings from successful competitions can be used to purchase new clothes, riding gear, and horse treats, and players can always head out for leisurely rides to relax and take photographs of nature.

    Should be fun for a horse-loving kid with an imagination.

    Well described in the listing. As a senior citizen, buying it for a granddaughter who loves horses, I had to try it out. First impression: easy to control, more to discover than what I had time for. The part that I played was taking the horse out for a ride. It was kind of fun. My granddaughter is very imaginative, not point or level driven. She should have some fun with this game.

    GREAT GAME HOURS OF FUN FOR HORSE LOVERS

    My daughter loves this game and tried it as well. Its fairly easy to control your horse and be competitive in the various competitions that are available. Lots of choices for the player and many levels of play to keep you interested. My daughter has finished soem of the horse games we got her the first day or 2 but this one is not like that and should be fun to play over and over again. Great graphics and story line as well. Highly recommend to all!

    Horse Life Adventures (Wii, 2009)

    Purchased this for my 6 year old for Christmas who absolutely loves horses. It's not one of the easier Wii games, requires the Wii remote and nunchucks to be used at the same time (which I knew looking at previous reviews posted), but in the long run I think she'll master it. Good for their coordination skills, using right and left hand at the same time.
