Little known and interesting history around Los Angeles
I was born and raised in Los Angeles. But the only inclines I knew were Angels Flight and Mt. Lowe. I never knew there were so many others, and I wish I could have investigated them many years ago. The one in the City of Industry is no longer running, and it is on very private property. This book arrived in great condition, and is full of very interesting and historical data. There are also many fine photographs, which makes this book a fascinating read. The next time I venture out to the Los Angeles I will certainly seek out these former railroad sites, and I know I will not be disappointed. The book is a very interesting look at some little know railroads. I recommend it to both railroad historians, and anyone interested in Southern California history.
