    I got the 500rpm model, it does work, and seems fairly well built, the speed control does have feedback so it will give the drill more juice if it lugs down on the slower settings instead of stalling out, however it appears to have a 9A motor in it, not a 13A motor in it, I lugged it down with a 3/4" twist drill, and it wouldn't pull more than 9.75A, the magnet takes about 0.75A, makes sense considering it has a 18AWG cord. The spindle also sticks out about 2" further than it really should.
