  • Good for novices. Average w/ nothing new for devotees.

This is a very well done documentary about the Knights Templar. If you are new to this subject and looking for a broad overview of the history of the Knights in a short period of time, this is an excellent video to watch. It contains all of the key information regarding the creation, growth and downfall of the order as well as some interesting theories about what it was that the templars found in the Temple of Solomon. If you are a devoted student of the Knights Templar, you will find nothing new on this video. I have been studying the Templars for about a year and have already learned everything that was on this video. It is interesting to watch because I love the subject, but there was nothing new; no new theories, no new findings, no new scholars, no new stories, legends or ...

  • Immensely Informative !

As a recent Master Mason in Freemasonry I wanted to further my education in Masonry and tried to decide which road to travel with either the Scottish Rite or the York Rite (Knight Templar). This CD is very informative with a brief overview into the history of the Knight Templars, how they originated, what they accomplished, the mysteries surrounding them, and their influence in the Great Crusades. This CD is not a complete history of the Knights but just a brief overview with a few facts thrown in. This video was perfect for me to start my education and be a cornerstone to learn upon. I would recommend this video to all with the understanding that there are numerous points of interest that are not explained like The Holy Grail, Mary, The Holy Land, Burning at the stake, Papal ...

  • Great Stuff for a great price! Very information

This was a chance to speculate one of the world's most mysterist and secretive organization. I heard rummors with this organization cennecting with the Watchtower's organization. Now, that I seen and watched this video, I have learned and understand, that yes, there was (or still is) indeed a secretive connection and connecting with the Masons. This video had help me break through and see it myself. Its structure of power is as similar that of the Jehovah's Witnesses since its beginning and until now. (Even the hiden and secretive symbols of both organizations are similar and connected). The Jehovah's Witnesses for many years had tried very hard to hide the facts by getting rid of some of their beliefs to aviod spectators to see the connection. I enjoyed much sharing this view. Thank you

  • the Knights Templar

If you are a history buff or a history major you will be rewarded by having this DVD. It covers a period of history, that is glossed over in social studies classes..and never really covered adequately. It treats of times, motives, and development in a way that most people have no understanding about. Don't shortchange yourself...view it and ya'll want it for your own library !!!

  • Pretty Good Templar History DVD

Better than most...but still a bit speculative. Great visuals by using historical sources. Good source for names, dates, and characters involved in the Crusades.
