Red water is the most amazing, fabulous and entertaining movie the features are awesome and amazing.
I love the movie red water and I use to have it on Dvd. It is one of the best shark movies since jaws. I have quite a few shark movies and this one is so amazing, awesome and excellent shark movie. I gave red water 5 stars because it is the best and out standing and fabulous shark movie ever and I really love and enjoyed watching this movie.

RED WATER isn't a bad movie, but the subplots are messier than the shark attacks. A bull shark has killed two people in the Mississippi River. Fisherman John (Lou Diamond Phillips) is hired by his ex-wife Kelli (Kristy Swanson) to take his boat up the river and check out a potential drilling site for her oil company. John's not crazy about the idea; the site's in a nature preserve, but he desperately needs the money. Meanwhile, a rival oil company gets to the site first. Meanwhile, a drug lord sends two thugs to intimidate a third thug into retrieving a suitcase filled with drug money that he dumped in the river years ago. John, Kelli, and their crew run afoul of both the oil company and the drug thugs. The thugs double-cross each other. There are lots of explosions, shooting, and ... Lou Diamond Phillips and Kristy Swanson are appealing, and are convincing in their roles. If you like these actors, you'll want to add RED WATER to your collection. Less convincing is Coolio as a hardened criminal. True, he spends 90% of his onscreen time shooting a handgun --- at people, sharks, and objects --- but it's hard to take him seriously. First, there's his bizarre hairstyle. Second, it's hard to believe he'd try to wrestle a shark for a suitcase full of drug money. SUMMARY: If you like suspense better than scary, this movie is okay.

not what expected.....okay movie,,,
It was okay. Not what I expected for a scary shark movie. Definately NOT a "Jaws" movie. Could have been better. It was just like watching it on t.v., with the black out parts where the commercial would have been. I would have been really mad if I would have paid more than $6.50 for it. If you still want to watch it and own it, try to get it for less than I paid. Could have been scarier.
