Comfortable, lightweight, great value!
Picked this up for backpacking and camping, and out of the package I’m impressed. Very light weight, and just laying on the floor my first impression is that it will be warm. Comfort wise it’s different than any other product I’ve used (foam pads, thermarest self inflating pads, etc) due to the v ridge design. But I feel like this is going to be a benefit as it conforms better to the body. I can sit upright without sinking and feeling the hard floor under me. Takes about 10-15 breaths to inflate fully. I like the valve design however the one complaint I have about it is that when you snap the safety cover over it it’s difficult and lets some air out. Minor annoyance really. It’s a bit narrow for me to side sleep on but again, minor annoyance. Overall I’d recommend it and will ... Picked this up for backpacking and camping, and out of the package I’m impressed. I've only just picked it up and it looks great! Will be testing it for real in the cold mountains in a couple of months. Feels comfortable on the floor though, and for the first time in years I have a full length mattress without my legs dangling over the end. And it looks like my 65 pound dog will be able to share it with me - he will like that very much. I purposely chose a product with a high denier count to prevent doggy toenail holes. It took more breaths to blow up than the write-up indicated, but I'm only little so must have smaller lungs than the testers. The air does "squeak" in places as it moves from chamber to chamber, but I think that will just make me laugh. I hope to sleep well on it for years to come. Not truly "refurbished"
I can only guess this was a return of some sort as there were no visible repairs to it at all. I immediately inflated it, and it is still sitting on my floor inflated after I and a friend have slept on it. Very comfortable and well worth the money spent. Can't wait to actually take it out into the field.
