Ice comes out the door as intended. Without lots of hassles.
The ice would barely come out of the ice door. This door did away with the ribbon cable heater in the old door. Also the door delay; the little black cylinder was broken. Now the door delays shutting and any ice in the chute has time to come down. I rate difficultly as a one. Now the ice bucket doesn't freeze up next to the freezer door and the ice chute doesn't ice over. The original parts were not very good. These replacement parts are far superior to the original. I also installed a new funnel chute funnel. The old one was always falling down. The new design has a third tab the original design lacked. This chute works as expected. The one small problem is if a lot of ice comes down shoot all at once it tends to dislodge the snap locks from their position. I guess ill have to find some glue to make a more secure and permanent hold.
