    battery is always charged

    perfect for a slow charge of 1.5 amp on 6 or 12 volt and then it goes into maintain mode. I leave 1 on each antique car that I only drive a few times a year.

    Seriously dead battery was 'reconditioned', and I was able to get several more weeks use from it, until the 'inevitable'. If you have a car/bike/boat battery, that sits unused for several weeks at a time, you need to buy and use this Schumacher unit.
