Team 17's quirky, turn-based war game goes 3D in this release for home computers and 128-bit generation consoles. The added dimension allows players' to view the action first-person, from above in "blimp" perspective or from behind their invertebrate warriors. It also creates yet another variable for which to account when firing off any of the game's numerous, unpredictable weapons. Battlefield landscapes are randomly generated and, of course, fully deformable.<br><br>Other additions include a deeper training mode and improved AI opponents for engaging solo play. Worms 3D is designed to retain the style and feel of its 2D predecessors, with the return of such favorite armaments as banana bombs, "Holy Hand Grenades," and exploding sheep, as well as deceptively simple-looking gameplay that seldom fails to surprise.<br><br>This version of the game comes to retail a few months after the other console editions, allowing developers time to add multiplayer support; unlike its PlayStation 2 and GameCube counterparts, the Xbox version of Worms 3D is playable online, through the Xbox Live service.

Fun game
I've always loved Worms Armageddon and enjoyed Worms World Party. When I bought my Mac I was disappointed to lose them both. With my Xbox I can now play worms again!! Cons: Worms 3D is definitely different. 3D makes it more difficult to aim, use the ninja rope and generally maneuver. I don't like the controls nearly as much as the original games. The saving screen can be misleading and not actually save your data when it says it is so you start up next time and lose your game. Pros: Great goofy fun game for groups of people or you can play over Live if you'd like. Fun for you and friends!
Worms 3D is a blast! This is a great game for you and a few friends! It is a turn taking strategy game, where you are a group of 3D worms trying to kill the other group of worms. The environment in this game are 100% distructable. the characters are funny and well made, and this is very re-playable. How ever there are a few flaws, you can't switch the invert camera, and there is no way to set the controls on this game. but if you can over come these control flaws this game is well worth it!Worms 3D is a blast! Good game
Being that this is a Xbox original and that the Worms Mayhem is out for download it is almost pointless to have. worms mayhem has everything worms 3d has but more same levels more levels same weapons more weapons. Over all this is a great game but like i said the download is better

Good game, diffrent from the previous Worms game. After getting used to the controls, its a fun game to play with friends. My friend had the game and I couldn't find it anywhere after looking, so glad I bought it of ebay.

play the first works a time ago . thought i would look and see if they made a new one and they do. Cool. Little different than on ps1 but all around it cool ones you learn all the moves . I would give it a good rating .
